Certification Awards for Aptech faculty
Aptech has always followed a tradition of training & certifying teachers. To help teachers keep abreast of the latest technology, from time to time, the Aptech Academics Team hosts Internal Certification Awards for faculty of various centres.
With this, faculty members who have scored the highest percentage in the maximum number of Aptech certifications are felicitated with special Faculty Awards.
The last such Certification Award ceremony was held for faculty at Aptech’s West Zone centres in August 2009. Faculty who had the top scores & most certifications mapped to Aptech’s career-building ACCP course were felicitated & given gift cheques to recognize their dedication to quality education.
The list of winners is as follows:
- Mahenaazbano Mutin Khan (Kalyan centre in Mumbai region).
- Devang Sodha (Surat Randerroad centre in Baroda region).
- Alpesh Namdeo Shivankar (Nagpur Dharampeth centre in Pune region).
States Narendra Maurya, Academic Head of Thane-West centre, “Such Awards create a competitive mindset among faculty at our centres. To compete against the best faculties, we at the Thane centre prepared on a war footing. All our faculty concentrated on learning new technologies since there was tight deadline within which we had to achieve these certifications. The whole exercise helped us upgrade our knowledge, which will eventually benefit our students.”
Following the resounding success of the West Zone Awards, the Aptech Academic Team plans to host the next Faculty Awards in November 2009. Keep an eye out for updates!
